Payment and Refund Policy
Last updated: 02 November 2026
Scope of This Policy
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of courses and related digital resources offered through vibrantix. The services covered include access to comprehensive materials on audiovisual production excellence, such as broadcast studio design, camera control systems, professional lighting arrangements, sound engineering, and streamlined workflows for television networks and live events. It governs transactions made by consumers located in the United Kingdom and explains the terms under which payments are processed and refunds may be issued. This policy does not cover physical goods or in-person training sessions unless explicitly stated at the time of purchase.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes, and Additional Charges
All prices on the website are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP) and include value added tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate where applicable. Additional charges may apply for optional extras such as extended access periods or supplementary materials, which will be clearly shown before checkout. No hidden fees are added after the point of purchase. Currency conversion fees may be applied by your payment provider if you are using a card issued outside the UK, and these are outside the control of vibrantix.
Accepted Payment Methods, Authorisation, and Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, including Visa, Mastercard, and American Express, as well as secure bank transfers where arranged in advance. Payments are authorised in real time through our third-party payment processor. All transactions are encrypted using industry-standard SSL technology to protect your financial details. vibrantix does not store full card numbers or sensitive payment information on its servers.
Order Confirmation and Contract Formation
When you complete a purchase, you will receive an immediate email confirmation containing your order details and access instructions. A binding contract is formed at the moment we send this confirmation. Until then, your order remains subject to acceptance. You should review the confirmation carefully and contact us promptly if any details appear incorrect.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Periods
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel most distance contracts within 14 days of the date the contract was formed. For digital content, this right may be lost once you begin downloading or streaming the material, provided you have given prior express consent to such immediate performance.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions, and Non-Refundable Items
Refunds are available for unused digital courses within the 14-day cooling-off period if no substantial content has been accessed. Once you have completed more than 20 percent of a course or downloaded associated files, eligibility ends. Promotional bundles, gift vouchers, and any customised content are non-refundable. Subscriptions automatically renew and may be cancelled at any time, but no pro-rata refunds are provided for the current billing cycle.
Step-by-Step Procedure to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email [email protected] with your order number, full name, and a brief explanation of the reason for cancellation. You must also confirm that you have not downloaded or streamed more than the permitted amount of content. Requests received outside the 14-day period will not be considered except in cases of proven technical fault on our side.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection, and Notification
Our team will review each refund request within five working days. You will receive an email notifying you of the decision. If approved, a refund will be processed. If rejected, the email will explain the specific reason, such as exceeding access limits or missing required information. You may appeal a rejection once by providing additional evidence.
Refund Method, Processing Time, and Receipt of Funds
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used at purchase. Processing typically takes between five and ten working days, after which the funds should appear on your statement within a further three to five days depending on your bank. We will send confirmation once the refund has been issued.
Special Rules for Digital Content and Subscriptions
Because the courses consist of digital content, your right to cancel is affected once you start accessing the materials. Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time via your account dashboard, but access continues until the end of the paid period. Promotional offers are subject to the same rules and cannot be combined with subsequent refunds.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks, and Fraud
If a payment fails, you will be notified and given the opportunity to retry with an alternative method. Duplicate charges are investigated immediately upon notification and refunded where verified. Chargebacks are treated as a last resort and may result in suspension of your account pending investigation. Suspected fraudulent activity leads to immediate account review and cooperation with relevant authorities.
Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. These rights cannot be excluded or limited by contract. If any term of this policy conflicts with mandatory UK law, the legal requirement prevails.
